CRRECENT’s work is funded by donations and grants from individuals, corporate organizations, grant partners and through other fundraising activities.

We are looking for volunteer fundraisers to raise funds for a Criminogenic Treatment Centre at the Senior Correctional Centre of the Ghana Prisons Service and a Halfway Shelter at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.

The shelter will serve as a six-month stopover facility for boys and girls who have been released from the juvenile correctional centres and remand homes.

CRRECENT currently has been holding these young persons in temporal locations to re-orient and equip them with skills and education for life. The facility will also be used to provide support to the diversionary measures under the Juvenile Justice Act for children who otherwise should not be placed in correctional centres and also for at risk young persons who may come into conflict with the law if left without support.
